BIOGRAPHY
- Gregory John Humphries

Greg Humphries is the founder and director of High Jingo Consulting Pty Ltd which he established in June 2008. Greg has an extensive and diverse background in IT executive management, systems development, technology infrastructure and ICT service delivery, both domestically and internationally.

Greg initially joined Philip Morris Limited in Melbourne in July 1986 as Systems Manager, Finance and Administration. He subsequently held the positions of Senior Systems Manager, Technical Services Manager and Systems Development Manager.

In 1990 he was seconded to Japan for eighteen months as MIS Manager for the Philip Morris business, based in Tokyo. In mid 1991, he returned to Australia to establish the Asia Pacific Systems Centre, an applications development organisation which he managed until 1994 when he was subsequently appointed General Manager of Philip Morris Information Services Ltd based in Melbourne with responsibility for systems development and IT infrastructure delivery to Philip Morris businesses across Asia Pacific.

In April 1999, Greg transferred to Philip Morris Management Corp. in New York where he held the position of Director, Global Information Systems and Shared Services responsible for ICT service delivery to the Corporate Headquarters functions. In December 2001, he returned to Australia to take up his current position Director, Information Technology Service Centre – Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, Altria Corporate Services, Inc, based in Melbourne. The purpose of the ITSC is to deliver shared IT services to all Altria companies across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Philip Morris, Greg was Assistant Manager, Systems Development for Australia Post from 1981, Senior Systems Analyst with Caterpillar (Australia) Ltd from 1978 and earlier was MIS Manager for Stokes (Australasia) Limited from 1974.

Following his secondary education at Ivanhoe Grammar School, Greg completed a Graduate Diploma in Computing and Information Systems at Chisholm Institute of Technology and holds the grade of Member of the Australian Computer Society. He is also an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program, from INSEAD, Fontainebleau Campus, France. Greg has held directorships in PMIS Limited and ITSC-AP Pty Ltd, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Greg lives on the Mornington Peninsula out of Melbourne with his wife, Robin. He is an active member of the Porsche Club of Victoria and the The National Golf Club.
